A critical illness policy is designed to create a tax-free lump sum payment of up to $2,000,000 soon after the onset of one of up to 30 critical illnesses (e.g. heart attack, cancer, stroke, MS etc.) A critical illness policy pays you regardless of your ability to return to work and is paid independent of your disability coverage.

- Early assist benefit for early prostate cancer, early breast cancer, early skin cancer, early stage blood cancer, early stage intestinal cancer, early thyroid cancer or coronary angioplasty for up to 10% of your policy or $50,000 – see policy for complete detail.
